I spent most of my time in the Theatre, doing dance, singing, playing piano, practicing martial arts, skateboarding, watching cartoons, and playing video games. After receiving a BS in Psychology and minor in Theatre, I opened a coffee roasting cafe, which eventually led to spending a couple of winters in Vermont as a professional coffee taster. My wife and I moved to North Carolina where I earned my PhD in Exercise Science and began teaching at a University.

Online classes in writing, comedy, and voiceover help me continue growing as an artist and stay connected with creative communities. I’ve enjoyed training and learning with Gotham Writers, The Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators, the Upright Citizens Brigade, the World’s Greatest Improv School, ACE Studios LA, and Skillshub. I love finding effective ways to learn the skills I need to thrive.
